The Dell, Alderley Edge

A new five-bedroom house in Alderley Edge, built to a contemporary design with a cantilevered first floor and full-height glazing across the rear.

The ground floor is open plan, with kitchen, dining and living space running into one another and sliding doors onto a porcelain terrace. Stone-clad piers carry the upper storey, and a glass balustrade wraps the first-floor windows.

Underfloor heating runs throughout, with controllable LED lighting in every room. The garden and terrace were laid out as part of the build rather than left to finish afterwards.
